Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture

UF/IFAS is advancing the future of agriculture through artificial intelligence and precision technologies that help farmers improve efficiency, increase sustainability, and meet the growing global demand for food.

UF Food is Medicine

UF/IFAS leads 200+ researchers with UF's Food is Medicine (FiM) Initiative, working to prevent and manage diet-related diseases. This work will result in better food and access to nutrition to improve health and quality of life for all.

Space

UF/IFAS has long partnered to explore space and all its possibilities. Our Space Plants team is driven to explore how to feed future astronauts, has grown plants in lunar soil from the Apollo missions , and has even conducted experiments in space.
