UF/IFAS Government Affairs
Our office works closely with local, state and federal governments to educate policy-makers and staff on issues that are vital to the mission of UF/IFAS. We help communicate about key political issues to internal and external stakeholders. We also work closely with the University of Florida Office of Government and Community Relations to help serve the University’s mission and community.
UF/IFAS Government Affairs team provides updates as to the status of issues and funding resources important to our mission, every week during the legislative session in Tallahassee via the FYIFAS newsletter. To subscribe, please email mahooks@ufl.edu.
