    Working Together for Positive Change

In addition to many externally funded projects, UF/IFAS is accelerating Food is Medicine work by providing seed funding for collaborative projects across UF. Through PLANTMED (UF/IFAS Projects Linking Agriculture, Nutrition, and Therapeutic Medicine for Every Diet), six projects received a total of $349,250 to advance innovative work in areas including diabetes, cardiometabolic health, family well-being, and Parkinson’s disease treatment.
