Hastings Agricultural Extension Center
Facility is open, but offices and buildings are closed to outside visitors. See note in this section. All visitors must have proper authorization to travel. That includes Extension agents, specialists, graduate students, biologists, or other staff from an offsite lab. Visitors must contact Scott Chambers with their plans (personnel visiting, date, time, location(s) on the farm, etc.).
Only when Scott responds affirmative that the visit can take place, can the person(s) move forward with the plan. It is preferable that other HAEC Employees are not on site for these visits, or at least are significantly distanced from the visitors on the farm. Visitors must practice CDC guidelines for social distancing, PPE, and other tactics to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
